It is absolutely shameful that we do not have a Black woman in the Senate, especially given the contributions of Black women to this country.
Black women are the backbone of the Democratic Party. Election after election they turn out in large numbers to vote blue and save our nation. But if you’re going to ask Black women to save America every other year, the least you can do is elect one to the Senate.
