What a week it’s been! As I was reflecting on all that’s happened recently—especially in the effort to protect children’s innocence and bodies from harm—I couldn’t help but think of categorizing them as “the good, the bad and the ugly.” 

 

First, the Good: 

  • 18 states have now passed Family Policy Alliance’s Help Not Harm bill to protect children from radical transgender hormones and surgeries, and 2-4 more states could do the same before this legislative session is over! 
  • 22 states have now passed Save Girls Sports bills to ensure women and girls are not forced to compete against biological males on female-only spots teams! 
  • Leading LGBT activists group Human Rights Campaign recognizes the role FPA plays in protecting children, blaming us for a “national state of emergency” because of bills like Help Not Harm and Save Girls Sports passing this year.

Now for the Bad:

  • President and Mrs. Biden just hosted the largest-ever Pride celebration at the White House this past weekend, which included a guest the administration had to denounce for attending topless.

  • The Los Angeles Dodgers still plan to give a Community Service Award to the “Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence”—an anti-Christian group that dresses in drag as Catholic nuns and encourages others to “go and sin some more”—this weekend, when lots of families like to attend baseball games to celebrate Father’s Day.
  • Businesses across the country continue to cater to Pride celebrations, rather than the millions of Americans who simply want to shop without a social agenda being forced on them—oblivious to $30 billion in losses Target and Anheuser-Busch have faced in recent weeks.

And finally, the Ugly: 

  • While 18 states are now protecting kids from radical transgender interventions, the reality is that more than 217,000 vulnerable children live in states without these protections and need your help today. 

 This is the true “national state of emergency” – but thankfully we can do something about it together: 

  • Help engage strongly in upcoming states with your gift of $50, $100 or even $500 or more. You’ll be helping to mobilize citizens, put boots on the ground to testify in state capitols, train lawmakers and advocates and much more.  
  • If the Lord has greatly blessed you, please consider a transformational gift that will allow us to expand our team and multiply our communication to the American people. Your visionary gift will shape the debate, even in difficult states. 

We’re winning—and the White House and HRC know it. But the work is not done. Will you fuel our tanks and keep the momentum going?
