MENTAL DIALOGUE TO PRESENT “ASK A BLACK REPUBLICAN” 
FEATURING KELVIN AND JANELLE KING

 
Atlanta, GA - Mental Dialogue's "All I Ask Is That You Think" series is presenting "Ask A Black Republican," featuring Kelvin and Janelle King, founders of Let's Win For America Action. The event will take place at Urban Grind, located at 962 Marietta Street Northwest, Atlanta, GA, 30318, on June 16th.
 
"This is a great opportunity for engaging discussions on racial stereotypes surrounding Black conservatives," expressed Kelvin King. “It's my belief that no party or candidate should assume they have a person’s vote based on the color of their skin. The trust of diverse communities AND their support at the ballot box should be earned through honest dialogue and sound policy. It’s important to have those authentic conversations year-round, not only when we have an impending election. That’s why Janelle and I are excited to participate in this event.”

Mental Dialogue's website describes the event as a town hall-style meeting focusing on African Americans who vote Republican and exploring the reasons behind their choice. The discussions aim to address questions such as whether Black Republicans are considered race traitors or if the Black community should diversify their votes between the two major parties. When asked about the political leaning of Mental Dialogue’s average attendees they replied, "Left-leaning."
 
Admission to the event is open to all, with a suggested donation of any amount. For those unable to attend in person, the event will be live-streamed. Registration for the event is now available at mdlivex2023.eventbrite.com.
