I wanted to personally reach out to you to discuss my commitment to combating the gun violence epidemic and, more specifically, making a difference in the lives of gun violence survivors.

Far too often, survivors are left feeling forgotten and without access to the resources they need and deserve to recover.

That's why, alongside Senator Bob Casey, I am reintroducing the Resources for Victims of Gun Violence Act. This legislation aims to provide the support and resources survivors need to rebuild their lives and find hope amidst unimaginable challenges.

While this legislation does not address gun safety, lawmakers continue to stand in the way of what should be another common-sense, bipartisan bill. Will you add your name today to show support for the Resources for Victims of Gun Violence Act and call on lawmakers to move forward with this meaningful legislation?

Our community is no stranger to gun violence. In Philadelphia alone, there have already been 645 nonfatal shootings this year. And according to the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, 117,345 people are shot every year, and 76,725 people survive gunshot injuries.

Survivors need our support. Together, we can be the catalyst for positive change and empower survivors on their journey toward a brighter future.
