Stand against Israel's Bid for the Visa Waiver Program

Dear Email,

For the last year, Israel has been seeking to join the U.S. Visa Waiver Program (VWP). Historically, Israel has exhibited discriminatory practices against U.S. citizens of certain racial, ethnic, and political backgrounds. This development could potentially institutionalize these unfair practices.

TAKE ACTION: Click here to send an email to your representative in Congress, urging them to join a sign-on letter and hold Israel accountable to ensure equality and justice for all American citizens.

Congressman Jonathan Jackson drafted a comprehensive letter outlining the conditions Israel must meet before it can join the VWP. The letter to Secretary Blinken and Secretary Mayorkas outlines three critical areas that need to be addressed before Israel is admitted to the VWP: 1. Full reciprocity for American citizens traveling to and from Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OPT); 2. Full access to Israel and the OPT for all Americans, without restrictions; 3.    Guaranteed freedom of expression for Americans advocating for Palestinian human rights.

As per the VWP’s statutory requirements, “reciprocal privileges to citizens and nationals of the United States” must be guaranteed. This requirement cannot be met until all U.S. citizens, regardless of national origin, ethnicity, or religion, are guaranteed equal treatment and freedom of travel.

We urgently need your help to push more members of Congress to support Congressman Jackson’s pivotal letter. Please take action today!

Thank you for your commitment to human rights and justice.

In Solidarity,
Ayah Ziyadeh
