Last week, our “defender of law and order,” Congressman Pete Stauber, went on talk radio [[link removed]] to state that the recent Donald Trump indictment was politically motivated by the Biden Administration, despite the charges coming from a Florida Grand Jury.
As constituents, you should be able to expect your elected official to uphold the Constitution and protect our Democracy. Unfortunately, it is increasingly evident that Stauber’s understanding of the Constitution is questionable at best. Despite the serious charges against Trump and the events on January 6th, Stauber continues to lend his full support to the former President.
