Hi John,

In a moment, I am going to share with you my thoughts on my first six months in Congress, but first I have to ask: Over the first 6 months of 2023 our reelection campaign has heated up, and my team is hoping to raise $5,000 this week to help power us through the second half of the year. Can you chip in just $5 before the day ends?

When I wake up each morning I’m filled with gratitude and fire in my belly. Fighting for our common good alongside all of you is an honor, and I am so proud to have brought that fight to the halls of Congress.

We were victorious last year because our campaign resonated with western Pennsylvania families. I promised to fight for the things that matter most – like bringing home our supply chains, making more stuff right here, protecting workers and unions, taking on unchecked corporate power, making billionaires and big corporations pay their fair share, protecting our right to vote, ensuring that women and girls across the country have access to legal abortion – and John, I’ve kept that promise.

But standing in the way, every step of the way, has been Kevin McCarthy and the extremist GOP. The MAGA crowd is so hellbent on protecting their billionaire backers that they’re willing to sacrifice working families, veterans, and American values.

And while they’re causing chaos in Congress, the GOP has found time to target our people-powered movement with misleading attack ads.

So here’s the plan, John: It’s critical that we come together now to fight back against the right-wing extremism targeting western PA. With 17 months until Election Day, and the attacks already ramping up, it’s critical that we spend the rest of 2023 growing our grassroots team, building a rapid response arsenal, and preparing for the GOP’s attacks.

But doing all of that is expensive, John. This is a grassroots-funded campaign, so will you chip in just $5 today to help us reach our $5,000 goal and ensure our campaign has the resources we need to win next year?
