Team, the mid-month deadline is tomorrow at midnight, and it’s critical that we meet our fundraising goal – especially since the end of the quarter is approaching. Will you pitch in with a quick donation? Any gift will help us stay on track.

Attorney General Eric Holder made it clear where things stand:

“The good news is that maps across the country are the fairest they've been in decades because of our work. . . . The bad news is that a new wave of anti-democratic tactics has already begun.”

He’s right – last year, our movement helped achieve what the New York Times called “the fairest House map of the last 40 years.” But now, Republicans are scrambling to roll back our progress by redrawing maps, passing new voter suppression legislation, stacking courts with their preferred judges, and more. That means we have two options:

OPTION ONE: We can do nothing and let the GOP roll back our progress.

Years from now, we’ll look back on the 2022 election as the high watermark for fair maps, after which the GOP returned to unchecked gerrymandering.

OPTION TWO: We can continue fighting for even fairer maps in 2024 and beyond!

Years from now, we can look back and know we did everything we could to strengthen our democracy.

The NDRC is committed to continuing our democracy-saving work – but the strength of this grassroots team will determine the strength of our efforts. So please: Will you make a donation of any amount before tomorrow’s deadline to help us keep fighting?
