Folks,

Whenever we reach out asking for your support, it’s mainly so that we can continue to invest in and expand our grantee program.

While we’ve given a broad view of the work our grantees do, I wanted to take a moment to highlight two specific groups before asking you to donate toward our final mid-month deadline of the quarter [[link removed]] — that way you can truly see where you make an impact when you contribute.

One of our spotlight grantees working in Alabama is United Women of Color!

Their mission is to support and empower girls, women, and their communities through local advocacy, voter outreach, and education opportunities.

Recently, they’ve been raising awareness about an anti-voting rights bill aiming to criminalize absentee voting assistance that’s making its way through Alabama’s state legislature.

Support our grantee program that provides capital, community, and capacity to groups like United Women of Color by pitching in today: [[link removed]]

Another grantee that benefits from your grassroots support is the Mississippi Workers’ Center for Human Rights .

Their work focuses on fighting for a living wage, helping workers organize, advocating for affordable housing and health care, and exposing workplace hazards while demanding accountability.

For Memorial Day, members rallied at the Mississippi Capitol to advocate for better workplace safety while honoring those who have lost their lives or been injured due to preventable workplace hazards.

But local groups like MS Workers’ Center and United Women of Color are often stretched for resources — and that’s where Groundwork Project comes in to help.

By pitching in today, folks, you’re helping fuel our grantee program so we can support organizations working year-round to uplift women, defend workers’ rights, and so much more.

So with our final mid-month deadline of the quarter one day away, will you contribute now to help us finish strong? [[link removed]]
