just a few months away from his re-election, he’s keeping his word.

In a huge win for Michigan, President Trump pledged to fully fund the Great
Lakes Restoration Initiative (GLRI) in his annual budget. This program
encourages tourism across the state and preserves our Great Lakes for
generations to come.

He also included $123 million in funding for the construction of the new Soo
Locks in Sault Ste. Marie. This critical infrastructure project is great news
for our local economy and will streamline cargo shipping on the Great Lakes.

Unlike the Do-Nothing Democrats, President Trump is taking decisive action to
deliver real results for our state and the folks of Northern Michigan.
