10,000 more signers needed by tomorrow.
Politicians at all levels of government are attempting to take control over our bodies and shut down our rights to reproductive health care. That's a jagged little pill that I refuse to swallow. Fight back with me by adding your voice to Planned Parenthood's call for #BansOffMyBody.

Forty-seven years ago, the Supreme Court recognized our constitutional right to abortion in the landmark Roe v. Wade decision. But with the upcoming June Medical Services case in the Supreme Court potentially making that right meaningless and anti-abortion politicians trying to ban abortions before most people even know they're pregnant, it's clear there's another slew of attacks coming with a singular goal: Ban abortion outright.

And that's just the beginning of their plan. Their real goal is to take away our rights, our health care, and our voices — to insert themselves into every personal decision we make — so we can't speak up. We can't fight back. We can't be free.

It makes you want to scream, right? Me too. So go ahead — scream, shout, get really, really mad. But then let's scream so they can hear us… because your voice matters in this fight.

If you're with me, speak up and say, "Get your bans off my body." It's time anti-abortion politicians understand that our bodies are OURS ALONE — and they're not up for debate, discussion, or discrimination. I have signed on along with 500,000 other people, but we're missing you.
Will you add your name?

Already, one in three women of reproductive age lives in a state where abortion could be outlawed if Roe v. Wade were overturned. That number will grow in the coming months. Emboldened by Donald Trump and Mike Pence in the White House, and Brett Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court, anti-abortion politicians will keep pushing ahead toward their ultimate goal: Banning access to safe, legal abortion for everyone.

So we can't let up. We can't hold back. We can't keep quiet. Even when (especially when) anti-abortion politicians want us to sit back and shut up. I stand with Planned Parenthood because our bodies, our dreams, our futures are worth fighting for...and that fight's just getting started.

Join me and thousands of others in speaking up: No bans. Not now. Not EVER.
In solidarity,
Alanis Morissette
