Governor Youngkin has made it clear that he will “gleefully” sign an abortion ban into law if given a chance. The Senate Democrats have blocked every attempt to pass abortion legislation, but that could change after the November elections.
If we give Governor Youngkin a GOP majority in Richmond, abortion will be the first thing on the chopping block. And if Joe Morrissey is elected, he will surely side with the GOP to vote for an abortion ban in Virginia. On the contrary, we have the incredible opportunity to build a pro-abortion-rights majority in Richmond – but first, we must elect Lashrecse Aird.
