Our 2022 Midterm Election Survey results are in, and the answers are positively surprising!

Despite losing the House, 91% of the Operation 147 Community members who answered the survey are satisfied with how Democrats performed in 2022. 45% of you even went so far as to say that you’re “very” satisfied.

53% of the Operation 147 community said that you think Democrats are doing a better job preparing for 2024 than 2022, and only 5% of you thought it was worse.

But when it came to the most important question in our survey, “Do you think our Democracy is stronger or weaker than it was a year ago?” The Operation 147 community was divided.

35% of you said our democracy was stronger now that we’ve survived our first major post-January 6th election with only minor disturbances. 29% said weaker, which is understandable in a post-Roe America. But most of you, 36%, said “about the same.” Given the state of our democracy last year, that’s not exactly a ringing endorsement.

The takeaway is clear: having exceeded historic and expert expectations for the 2022 Midterms, Democrats have the momentum going into 2024. But with our weakened democracy still hanging in the balance, we must capitalize on that momentum NOW.

Our mission at Operation 147 for the next 15 months is to closely examine every congressional election. Every district, every special. Together, we’ll decide where we can make the biggest impact by flipping a seat the establishment is sleeping on or defending districts experts might be taking for granted.

When Operation 147 fights, democracy wins. Now we just have to grow our movement so that we can fight everywhere.
