Subject: every day we lose 100 America lives that could have been protected
John,
This Friday marks the two year anniversary of the massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida — where 17 innocent lives were taken from us too soon.
Something has to change. Sign our petition demanding our elected officials take action against preventable gun violence >>>
Since 2009 there have been 224 mass shootings — we hear the news and our hearts ache, children murdered in the classroom, peaceful worshippers in their house of god, club or movie-goers having a night out with friends.
But mass shootings are only a small representation of the lives lost to gun violence. Every day 100 Americans are killed with guns.
The majority of gun deaths are the result of heartbreaking daily occurrences including suicide, accidents, and domestic violence.
These deaths are preventable, but we have to take action. We need reforms like universal background checks and red flag laws. But we can’t do it without your help, John.
Thanks,
Team Tom
