A recent poll showed a potential Republican opponent just one point behind me in the race for the U.S Senate.

Then MAGA extremist David Clarke Jr. — Republican voters’ #1 choice for Senate according to a new poll — attacked me on the air. 

McConnell and Republicans are ready to spend millions of dollars to take back the Senate. They know Wisconsin has a track record of ultra-competitive elections, so they will do everything they can to bankroll their chosen candidate to flip this seat. 

The pressure is on. I’ve taken on tough fights before, but this could be my closest election yet. This recent poll just confirms what we already knew from the very beginning — that this would be one of the most competitive races in the country.
