Last night, New Hampshire voted in their Presidential primary.

As the country looks toward the future of the Democratic Party and our nation as a whole, we must remember that our progress depends on the partnership between Congress and the president.

Regardless of who our nominee will be, in order to get anything done when they take office, they’ll need partners in the House and Senate.

The question is, is Richard Neal that partner?

Spoiler alert: he’s not. Congressman Neal has repeatedly betrayed the communities of Western and Central Massachusetts by siding with corporate special interests. It’s time we replace him with a people-focused representative.

Can you chip in today to fuel our grassroots movement to put people back at the center of politics in MA-01?

Neal hesitated on holding Trump accountable, waiting until the last minute to jump on board with impeachment. He wavered on ending the bad practice of surprise medical billing. And he is the only member of the MA congressional delegation who has refused to sign on to the Green New Deal.

Alex is a champion of the people. As mayor of Holyoke, he designated the city a sanctuary city so that all community members could feel safe. He has pledged to endorse the Green New Deal when elected. And he will fight for Medicare for All.

Richard Neal has accepted the most corporate PAC money of any Democrat in Congress. Alex has pledged to not accept a dime from corporate special interests.

It’s time that the First District take back our voice in Washington and stand up for the progressive values we believe in. We need your help to take on the D.C. status quo.
