My name is Elissa Slotkin, and I’m running for the open Senate seat in Michigan being vacated by the great Debbie Stabenow who is retiring after nearly 50 years of service to Michigan and this country.

I’m writing today because another one of Michigan’s leaders, my 2018 classmate, and my friend in the House, Haley Stevens, is endorsing my campaign for Senate.

I couldn’t be more thankful for Haley’s endorsement, and I hope today that I can earn your support too – because it’s going to take a very large grassroots team to defend this seat.

CNN just named us one of the 10 Senate seats most likely to flip in 2024. The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) has already launched their first attack ad against me over 500 days away from the 2024 elections. The Vice Chair of the New York Stock Exchange to the former police chief of Detroit are all considering running for this Senate seat in Michigan.

Now, National Republicans may be closing in on a poll-tested candidate, but we are running this campaign with the grassroots support of tens of thousands of people from Michigan and across the country.
