Otherwise, let me quickly explain:

I am launching a goal to raise $5,000 by tomorrow at midnight because tomorrow leaves us with just 15 days until our first-ever FEC deadline, our most important test yet.

But this grassroots team surprised me over and over again. Once with the outpour of support we got when we launched, again when we helped Judge Janet win the Wisconsin Supreme Court Race, and more times over as we’ve kept our momentum going throughout this quarter.

After this deadline, we are legally required to report our fundraising data for the first time since our launch and that means everyone — the press, political pundits, and our right-wing naysayers — will be watching to see if The Long Run showed the momentum it needed to continue to protect and elect Democrats across the country.

This deadline may sound like a steep hill to climb, but I know if we can reach this $5,000 goal right now, we will be in a strong position to reach our FEC deadline goal at the end of the month

So will you contribute whatever you can afford to start our midmonth fundraising drive strong? I would not ask for your support if it weren't critical to our success.
