Union Kitchen workers together with UFCW Local 400 are prepared to call for a consumer boycott of Union Kitchen stores starting on Friday, June 16 at 11:00 a.m. in direct response to management’s ongoing and unlawful efforts to undermine the workers’ union, including firing multiple employees for union activity, in violation of federal law. On Saturday, June 17, 2023, join the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen for Jazz on The Rails, a Juneteenth Celebration at the B&O Railroad Museum in Baltimore, Maryland. The event will feature live contemporary jazz performances and exhibits of The Underground Railroad and the journey for the Freedom Seekers. It will also be a celebration of the past, present, and future contributions of front-line railroad employees to the Railroad Industry.
