Did you see what just happened?!
We just witnessed an electrifying moment as Vivek Ramaswamy [ [link removed] ] threw down the gauntlet! He challenged every presidential candidate, regardless of party affiliation, to step up and commit to pardoning President Donald Trump.
I had the honor of delivering the opening remarks at Vivek's press conference (full remarks below), where I highlighted the broader significance of this issue. As some of you may remember from my 2022 Senate campaign, Donald Trump endorsed Dr. Oz instead of me in the Republican primary only for Dr. Oz to lose in the general election. Backing Dr. Oz obviously did me no favors or in the end, the people of Pennsylvania.
This transcends the presidency itself. This is about YOU!
However, it is crucial to recognize that this is not about me or Dr. Oz or even Trump. This transcends the presidency itself. This is about YOU, the people! If they can subject a former president to such treatment, what's to prevent them from doing the same to you?
This isn't a time for playing it safe or staying on the sidelines. The destructive forces of division and anger have plagued us as a nation for far too long. Vivek's call is an invitation to mend our wounds, bridge our differences, and construct a more robust and prosperous America.
Never forget that forgiveness and mercy are signs of strength, not weakness. Let's be clear: this is about what’s best for our nation, but it’s not about evading accountability. Our legal system will address any alleged wrongdoings, but we must not allow ourselves to be trapped in an endless cycle of retribution. Now is the time to leave behind the shackles of division and embrace the path of peace and progress.

Together, let's seize this extraordinary opportunity at this pivotal moment in our nation's history and refuse to shrink. They're no longer hiding their bias and criminality. They're doing it in right in your face!
So what are you going to do about it? I’m talking to you, Tim Scott, Nikki Haley, Ron DeSantis and the rest of the GOP.
If you want to lead us, then prove it! Follow Vivek’s lead and stand up for your country, not just your political ambitions.
With few exceptions, most of you did nothing when they locked down our country. You did nothing when they locked up innocent citizens who attended a rally on Jan 6. You missed those shining opportunities to lead. So here you go. Here's your chance to lead, served up on a silver platter.

”Hello everyone, my name is Kathy Barnette. Many of you, especially in the media, will remember me from my highly contested Senatorial race in Pennsylvania against Dr. Oz and others. If you remember that race, then you know Donald Trump endorsed Dr. Oz, and you also know that he did me no favors.
And yet, I stand here today not only in defense of Donald Trump, but more importantly, in defense of our nation and against the weaponization of our own government against her own people. I'm standing because this moment is bigger than Donald Trump. This is bigger than just one man. This is wrong, and if they can do this to Donald Trump, they will do it to you. And if not to you, then to those you respect, to anyone you may want to vote for, and who dares to cross swords with them.
If you don't cower down and do as you're told, they will do a Xi Jinping, a Zelensky, a Putin, a Kim Jong Un on you... With this obvious weaponization of our government, how are we any different from any other despot regime? Don't talk to me about "our democracy" if you stand here and say NOTHING!
