Donald Trump is declaring war on domestic programs to pay for his trillion-dollar tax cut for the wealthy and big corporations.

No, really. He’s paying for his corporate handouts by cutting money from Medicare, Social Security, the EPA, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and more!

Americans have paid into Social Security and Medicare for years. Ripping away our benefits to help pay for endless wars and allow Amazon to pay $0 in net federal taxes is unfair and unjust.

Over $500 BILLION dollars. That’s how much money Trump wants to cut out of Medicare. Over the next 10 years, he wants to cut $920 billion out of Medicaid too. In that same period of time, he’s looking to remove $182 billion in funding for food stamps as well.

But the Pentagon budget? Not losing a dime. We can make war a priority, but making sure our seniors have healthcare, or CHIP remains funded, is apparently a bridge too far? Nonsense.

I’m not standing for his anti-working people Trump budget. Will you join me in opposing this bill?
