It's hard to believe but we're at the halfway point of 2023! Thanks
to member support, we've done so much: dissected the failures of
antiquated economic models, meticulously covered the debt ceiling
nonsense, explained the inexplicable farm bill, and more.
But as we start the second half of 2023, the clock is ticking on a
couple of giving options that donors like you are choosing to benefit
their own savings as well as the journalism they value:
Give from a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF)

without spending additional funds. We need your support year-round, and
if you have a DAF, a grant recommendation helps you give without
spending more money - and makes the much-needed impact we need. By
giving through this tool, you can notify us and make your recommendation
at the same time:

to lower your taxable income. If you're 73 or older with a traditional
IRA, an IRA donation today can help you get ahead by meeting your
Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) well before 2023 is up. Note: When
