Following allegations of a racist comment made by the Romanian ambassador to Kenya, Romania has decided to recall its ambassador from Nairobi. The Romanian Foreign Ministry in Bucharest released a statement on Saturday, categorically condemning any racist behavior or comments and stating that such behavior is completely unacceptable. The ministry has initiated the process of recalling Ambassador Dragos Viorel Tigau from his position in Kenya.

The United States has reportedly intensified its preparations to evacuate American citizens residing in Taiwan, according to The Messenger. These plans have been in progress for approximately six months, but they have gained momentum over the past couple of months, as disclosed by a senior U.S. intelligence official to The Messenger.
