It is important to advise our members that we were informed by the Department of three (3) ongoing CPRA requests requesting the following member information:
- Officers' height and weight
- Name, badge number and serial number
- Current off-duty work permits
The Department is currently working in cooperation with the City Attorney to actively address these requests. At this time, there has been no information released, nor is any information pending release. LAPPL General Counsel will be in close contact with the Department and City Attorney, and you will be provided timely updates on the status of these requests. The LAPPL remains committed to protecting the release of your private and privileged information.
