I'm guessing that you have looked outside these past few days and seen that
the sky was thick with smoke? Or perhaps, like my friend Andrew, you are
asthmatic and suffering from the terrible air quality?

In the last few days, it has been made clear that Justin Trudeau's Liberals
have no plan at all. In fact, they are so unprepared that our country has
to rely on the generous support of firefighters from France and South
Africa to put out the fires from coast to coast to coast.

Now more than ever, I need your support. I have been running a strong
campaign in NDG-Westmount, and we're gaining momentum on the ground. We
have always talked about the impact of climate change on future generations
but today we are seeing the impacts on us all and it's not good.

When I am in Ottawa, I will fight for bold action on climate change.
Consecutive governments have done all too little and communities around the
country are now paying the price. We know that there will be more fires,
floods, heat domes, hurricanes, and droughts. We need to prepare for the
coming storms. We need to see massive government investments now to make
our communities more sustainable and protect lives tomorrow. We cannot let
them procrastinate anymore.
