All eyes will be on Michigan in 2024 for two key reasons: House control and White House control both run through West Michigan.

West Michigan is a historically more conservative part of the state – in 2022, I was able to flip this seat for the first time in 50 years – so Republicans will try to juice their margins in my hometown. I even outperformed top-of-the-ticket Democrats, so the GOP knows how strong our campaign is. They will do everything they can to beat me, lower the turnout in my district, and take back this seat in 2024.
