John, our fight to transform politics means repowering the South to achieve fair representation at every level of public office. And this week, we’re celebrating a MAJOR victory! 

The Supreme Court just ruled AGAINST discriminatory redistricting maps in Alabama. This is an incredible win for voting rights advocates and communities fighting to be heard and fairly counted in critical elections. Even better, this ruling could throw a wrench in the GOP’s ongoing voter suppression efforts across the South. 

This is a huge opportunity for our movement to empower real community champions to step up, run for office, and flip states from red to blue! But we can’t wait until 2024 – we MUST seize the moment now. 

That’s why Emerge is already recruiting and training bold Democratic women to hit the campaign trail, inspire their communities, and fight back against the GOP’s attacks on our democracy itself. We just graduated 27 fierce Democratic women from 11 states from our Emerge boot camp this past weekend – and this August, we’re building the ranks at our fall training focused on the south. The future of our country is at stake, and we need Democratic women ready to run, win, and be a real force for lasting change. 

But here’s the problem: We need to ramp up our recruitment and training programs to meet this critical moment, and we can’t do it without supporters like you with us.
