Automobiles are a symbol of freedom. The American spirit built the auto industry and gave millions the access to an easy and affordable mode of transportation. The vast array of automobile options means that Americans can pick what works best for them and their families.

But Biden’s newest proposed regulation would be a roadblock to your options. Instead of allowing American consumers to freely determine what cars the market should make, Biden’s regulation imposes government favoritism for electric vehicles and their battery suppliers in communist China.

In 2022, 94% of all new vehicle sales were either gas or hybrid vehicles. Biden’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), has proposed strict emission regulations that would tear that number down to only 33% in just 9 years.

This restriction is designed to force people into buying electric vehicles (EV) that may not be right for them. Using the heavy hand of the government to manipulate markets and remove options from the hands of the people is simply un-American.

But we have a way to fight back! Until July 5th, this regulation is subject to a period of public comments, meaning anyone and everyone is allowed to write to the EPA and express their disapproval of the regulation.

With enough comments, the regulation can be delayed or even rescinded.
