In Northeast Kenya, Mercy Corps worked with local farmers to drill a new
borehole, improving water irrigation amidst severe drought.
As the drought in the Horn of Africa persists, Mercy Corps is providing
immediate assistance to alleviate hunger and meet basic needs. This
support includes providing clean water, dietary supplements to prevent
malnutrition, and veterinary services to farmers to keep their remaining
livestock alive.
