The Lapeer County Republican Party Legislative Report Committee has presented the attached Legislative Report, dated June 11, 2023.

The purpose of the Lapeer County Republican Party Legislative Report Committee is to follow important legislation in the State Legislature, inform all Lapeer Republicans of the legislation, and encourage Republicans to draw their own conclusions before contacting the legislators. Chairman Lossing has asked the Legislative Report Committee to tie all opinions back to the core Republican Party Values. We understand that not everyone has the same opinion, and that is perfectly fine. Please feel free to join this committee or any committee that you have an interest in. Your thoughts and opinions are valued and appreciated.

A copy of the Resolution to Instruct our Representatives to Oppose All Firearms Control Legislation, referred to in the Legislative Report, is also attached. The resolution was passed by the Lapeer County Republican Party Executive Committee on February 21, 2023.
