WEEKLY UPDATE

FROM THE AZGOP

CHAIRMAN'S MESSAGE

Arizonans,

Accountability in government ensures our elected leaders serve our nation's best interests. Transparency in the process and a focus on improving the day-to-day lives of American citizens is the key to good governance.

Over the last two and a half years, we have watched Joe Biden and the Democrats in Washington, D.C. operate with no regard for accountability and transparency. We are dangerously close to Katie Hobbs having no opposition to her policies that badly hurt hard-working taxpayers in Arizona.

Governor Katie Hobbs' leadership has been marked by turmoil and high staff turnover. While chaos reigns on the 9th floor, she continues to spread the chaos throughout our state by vetoing bipartisan bills, such as SB1264 by JD Mesnard (R-13), which aimed to address conflicts of interest in overseeing elections. This bill sought to prevent elected elections officers or their appointees, who have a role in election oversight, from being members of Political Action Committees (PACs) since PACs are designed to influence elections. Maybe it's because Hobbs also didn’t want to disclose her own donors to her inauguration fund, which angered many on both sides of the aisle. To bring about the change we need, Democrats must be voted out.

Vote Republican up and down the ticket next year to make a difference for Arizona and our nation.

Celebrating the US Flag holds great significance as it represents the core values and unity of our nation.

The flag symbolizes the freedoms we cherish, the sacrifices of those who have served, and the enduring spirit of America. It serves as a powerful reminder of our shared heritage and the principles of liberty, justice, and equality for all. By honoring the flag, we pay tribute to the ideals that make our country strong and inspire us to work towards a better future.

Let us come together to celebrate the symbol that embodies the pride and resilience of the United States.

Governor Hobbs' decision-making continues to raise serious concerns among Arizonans. Not only is she vetoing bills that hold genuine potential to improve the lives of our fellow citizens, but state agencies under her leadership, Arizona Lottery and Office of Tourism, are also directing taxpayer dollars to sponsor and fund child-friendly drag shows in Flagstaff for Pride Month.

The allocation of our hard-earned taxpayer dollars towards such events is deeply troubling. Shouldn't we expect our funds to be used more wisely, such as investing in education, addressing homelessness, and ensuring the integrity of our elections? These critical issues demand immediate attention and resources, yet they are being overshadowed by the misallocation of funds.

As responsible citizens, we call upon our state agencies to refocus their efforts and prioritize initiatives that truly serve the needs and values of Arizonans. Governor Hobbs must be held accountable for her misplaced priorities and the adverse effects they have on our state's prosperity.
