Hi, This afternoon in a Miami courtroom, Donald Trump will become the first ever President to be arraigned on federal charges. By now, you know the details. After leaving the White House, Trump took boxes of classified documents to his personal residence in Florida and hid them in cartoonishly unsecured places. Many of the documents were highly classified, and some even discussed U.S. nuclear programs and the potential military weaknesses of the United States. When the government tried to get the documents back, Trump obstructed. A former lawyer to Trump even claims that he was asked to get rid of the documents and commit a federal crime. So yeah, as I said in a tweet that went viral over the weekend, this whole thing is a sh*tshow, for sure. I don’t blame you if you’re worried. As of today, polls say Trump is the clear frontrunner for the Republican 2024 Presidential nomination. It’s natural to worry, but we can’t let our worry become despair. We have less than 18 months to work our hearts out for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in Michigan. Not only that, but by ensuring Michigan Democrats win up and down the ticket in 2024, we can make sure that Trump’s Republican enablers are held accountable for refusing to put our country first. Thanks, Debbie ![]()
