One year ago today, we brought together hundreds of artists, athletes, grassroots organizers, civic leaders, and more for the first-ever Culture of Democracy Summit in Los Angeles. Throughout the four-day event, we held conversations about the role we all play in strengthening our democracy. Our Co-Chairs Michelle Obama, Chris Paul, Selena Gomez, Liza Koshy, Bretman Rock, and Kerry Washington; leaders including Former Attorney General Eric Holder, Doc Rivers, David Hogg; and others took the stage to discuss everything from criminal justice reform and environmental justice to Gen Z activism, misinformation, and more.

Through the Culture of Democracy Summit, When We All Vote set the blueprint for merging culture and civic participation — but none of the work we do is possible without you. As we look ahead to 2024 and beyond, keep asking yourself: Are we a real democracy if the majority of people don’t vote or can’t vote?

At When We All Vote, we know the answer — that’s why we continue to find ways to get each and every one of you involved. Democracy isn’t just showing up to the ballot box — it’s living in a system where the power of the people is greater than the people in power.
