Not my normal newsletter today, but a note which comes to you with urgency and concern about the state of the A477 Pembroke Fingerpost junction. You will likely know that we have recently witnessed a tragic incident where a motorcycle rider lost their life.
This junction has long been a hotspot for accidents and near-misses. Our community demands immediate action from the Welsh Government.
The absence of a roundabout, has been a recurring concern voiced by constituents, councillors and myself for many years now. This vital infrastructure upgrade is long overdue and requires immediate attention and funding from ministers.
A petition has been organised, which I urge you to sign and share. Ten thousand signatures secures a debate in the Senedd. We are nearly there.

In addition, I am compiling as much evidence as I can to present to the Welsh minister.
Your first-hand experiences of accidents or near-misses at this junction - or if you have witnessed such events - will provide invaluable insights.
If you have had any such experiences, please let me know by replying to this email, providing as much information as possible about the event, such as the date, time, and location of the incident. Describe the circumstances leading up to the accident or near-miss, detailing any contributing factors such as poor visibility, inadequate signage, or excessive speed. If you have any additional relevant information, such as witness accounts or photographs, please include those as well.
To ensure the accuracy and credibility of this dossier, it is vital that you include your name and contact details along with your account. Rest assured that this information will remain strictly confidential, and the dossier will not be made public. It will serve solely as a compilation of evidence to support our case for a roundabout installation.
