A Pastor’s View: Responding faithfully to cultural hostility

Dear supporter,

Institute trustee Revd Dr William Philip regularly speaks out on Christian issues in the media. He opposed the Scottish Government’s ban on public worship during the pandemic, and its ‘sex swap’ Bill.

I recently asked him for his view, as a pastor, on the crucial responsibility church leaders have to equip their congregations to deal with the thorny issues of the day.

In this two-part interview, watch William explain why the Gospel is bigger than we may think and offer encouragement to pastors tempted to stay silent in the face of a hostile culture.
