Friend,

At the end of the day, our democracy comes down to one thing – the vote.

If we want better housing and healthcare, we need to show up and vote.

If we want to protect reproductive freedoms, we need to show up and vote.

If we want to take on this country’s gun violence epidemic, we need to show up and vote.

And with only one week left before the Virginia Primary Election, I’m urging you to make a plan if you haven’t already.

Regardless of whom you support, the entire function of our democracy is contingent on participation. We have the power to elect progress and change. We have the power to elect sensible and responsible leaders. We just need to show up and vote.
