Children stuck in front of screens while parents juggle work and parenting. Elderly parents left home alone because families can’t afford to pay for care. Workers who can’t feed their families or take a day off even when they’re sick because they’re paid so little.

John – our country is in a care crisis: the result of decades of political neglect.

But last month that changed BIG TIME. President Biden’s executive actions on care have created incredible momentum in D.C – and we can’t afford to miss this opportunity.

Our team is turning on a dime to sign up countless new congressional Care Champions through face-to-face meetings on Capitol Hill, in-district events by domestic workers, and constituent contact across the country.

John: this is a huge lift. But it’s the hard reality of what’s needed to push Congress to tackle the care crisis, and we all need to step up. If you’re able, can you donate $20 today to support our work? Every dollar makes a difference.

But for too many families, and women in particular, this moment means weighing their lives against their livelihoods in the struggle to afford to pay for care.

On the other side, paid care workers work long hours every day to take care of families. They’re passionate, skilled, and committed – but they struggle to pay their bills and provide for their families.

It’s a nightmare for everyone involved, and that’s the reason we’re focused 100% on building congressional support to fix the care crisis.

Getting Congress to step up and step in will be a watershed moment, and that won’t come easily or quickly. This work will take months and years, so when we’ve got momentum – which we do right now – we have to push as hard as we can.

Our team is going all-out to secure as many new congressional Care Champions as possible while the spotlight is shining. John can you donate $20 to support our work and help END the care crisis? Thanks for all you do,
