This is great news for NJ transit!

Mikie is making good on her promises to hardworking New Jerseyans.

✅ First, Mikie helped advance a bipartisan measure designed to lessen the tax burden created by the SALT deduction cap.

✅ Now, the Portal Bridge Replacement Project - a critical piece of the Gateway Tunnel Project - is taking an important step forward thanks to Mikie’s tireless fight in Congress.

There’s more work to do, but this is an important step forward. And it’s just one of the many reasons why Mikie is the fighter we need in Congress.

The first piece of the Gateway Project is replacing the Portal North Bridge, a swing bridge that is 110 years old, and fails to safely close 15 percent of the time. Its disrepair poses serious issues to New Jersey’s economy and threatens the safety of our commuters.

Mikie has been fighting for the Gateway Project since day one. She’s made site visits, convened meetings, and pushed the Transportation Department to release funding and treat this project with the urgency it demands.

Thanks to her efforts, the Transportation Department has given the Portal North Bridge the rating required for advancing this critical infrastructure project.

Mikie has led this fight and worked to break the gridlock in Washington and get the job done for New Jersey.

That’s exactly the kind of leadership we need, but Washington Republicans are laser-focused on unseating her. Will you chip in to help defend Mikie’s place in Congress?

Together, we can build a stronger future for New Jersey!
