Patriot,
Today, the Senate Judiciary Committee will hold a hearing on
reauthorizing Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence
Surveillance Act (FISA), the program America's spy agencies use
to gather intelligence on law-abiding Americans, an unequivocal
violation of the U.S. Constitution.
There won't be any whistleblowers this time. Just an assortment
of "top officials" from the alphabet agencies:
David Cohen, Deputy Director, Central Intelligence Agency (CIA)
George Barnes, Deputy Director, National Security Agency (NSA)
Chris Fonzone, General Counsel, Office of the Director of
National Intelligence (DNI)
Paul Abbate, Deputy Director, Federal Bureau of Investigation
(FBI)
Matt Olsen, Assistant Attorney General, National Security
Division, (DOJ)
It doesn't take a crystal ball to see how this hearing will go:
"Well, Senator, I appreciate your concerns about accusations of
supposed past abuses of the 702 databases, but we have conducted
a vigorous and thorough internal review. Those who might have
mis-used the systems have been re-trained, and we feel confident
America is safer today."
Hearings like this one are never anything else.
The truth is, of course, this is what the Deep State always says
when they are caught red-handed. And when there is no penalty for
them, they just double down and escalate their tactics.
Remember, the FBI abused the "Section 702 Database" under FISA to
spy on Americans over THREE MILLION times in just one year.
They've concocted bogus investigations against politicians,
against pro-life and anti-war activists, and even persecuted
parents concerned about what's going in our schools.
And as whistleblowers have testified, all of this came at the
expense of the legitimate work fighting sex traffickers, drug
traffickers, and terrorists.
Take a moment right now to send members of the Senate Judiciary
Committee an e-postcard DEMANDING they hold the FBI and other
agencies accountable for their misconduct.

NO COMPROMISE, NO BOGUS "REFORM": END SECTION 702 of the Foreign
Intelligence Surveillance Act!
The fact is, the Deep State is hell-bent on collecting every
American's emails, phone records, text messages, Internet
searches, instant messages, online purchases, and social media
posts.
And they're not letting anything get in their way. As admitted in
the news, the NSA "deliberately ignored restrictions on their
authority to spy on Americans multiple times in the past decade."
Take a moment right now to tell members of the Senate Judiciary
Committee to SHUT DOWN the abuses of Section 702, which the Deep
State has proven time and again it cannot be entrusted to use in
"good faith."

P.S. Section 702 of FISA - which allowed the massive collection
of innocent Americans' emails, texts, phone calls, and online
chats to continue - is set to expire at the end of this year.
If you and I turn up enough heat on Congress to stop
reauthorization, I'm convinced we can bring the statists'
domestic spying programs to a crashing halt.
That's why I'm counting on you to please send your STOP THE
SURVEILLANCE STATE e-postcard and make a contribution of $10,
$25, $50, $100, or more TODAY!
