Hello Friend,
Welcome to my e-newsletter, the Ready Room. As a retired Naval Aviator, the Ready Room is special to me because it’s where fellow aviators meet to brief and debrief missions. This is my weekly briefing to you on my mission in Congress. Please follow me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube for regular updates on how my team and I are working to serve you in Congress.
Honoring the Greatest Generation on D-Day
On the 79th anniversary of D-Day, we remember the 156,000 U.S. and allied forces that bravely stormed the beaches of Normandy to safeguard our freedoms and begin the liberation of France and western Europe. One of them was my great uncle, Ben Franklin. Their courage was the critical turning point in World War II. We honor their memory by never forgetting their service and sacrifice in defense of democracy. Click here to learn more.
Ensuring Strong Airpower
I joined fellow Mach 1 Caucus members and Air Force Chief of Staff, General Charles Q. Brown Jr. in a discussion about modernizing our nation's airpower capabilities. We must ensure our aviators have the necessary tools to remain the world's premiere fighting force. Click here to learn more.
Constituent Corner
Alicia from Bartow reached out for help with a Social Security issue. We helped her secure backpay she was owed. If you are having problems with a passport, the IRS, the VA, Social Security or another federal agency, we can help! Click here to learn more.
