Philadelphia, PA This Friday, February 14th, marks two years since the Parkland school shooting. March For Our Lives Philadelphia is holding a rally on Saturday, February 15th to honor the 17 beautiful lives lost on that day. Our rally will be in LOVE Park from 1pm-3pm and there will be speakers from other March For Our Lives chapters as well as from the Philadelphia community. We will also have a memorial that attendees can participate in by leaving a handprint on a piece of paper to symbolize those who have lost their lives to gun violence. This rally is not a political event, but rather a time for us to come together as a community and honor those who have lost their lives to this epidemic. McCandless, PA 15237 Rally in front of Speaker of the State House Mike Turzai's office to tell him that the people of Pennsylvania DEMAND universal firearm background checks and extreme risk protection orders. These bills are being obstructed by the House Judiciary Chair Rob Kauffman. Let's let Mike Turzai know that as Speaker, he needs to get these bills moving. Because it will be TWO YEARS since the Parkland massacre and ONE YEAR that the ERPO bill (HB1075) has been sitting in the PA legislature gathering dust.
