The bloody carcass of a mangled grizzly bear was recently discovered in Wyoming just 14 miles outside of Yellowstone -- and it likely suffered a horrific, violent death.
Grizzly bears are one of the most iconic native mammals in North America, but outside of Alaska, their numbers have dropped to only 2% of their historic population, with fewer than 2,000 grizzlies remaining in the lower 48 states today.
Ever since the Trump administration removed critical bear protections in 2016, cruel trophy hunters have been LEGALLY murdering helpless grizzlies and bear cubs in droves and driving these treasured animals closer to EXTINCTION.
And right now, far-right lawmakers like Rep. Lauren Boebert are doubling down on harmful Trump-era policies by aggressively attempting to roll back life-saving Endangered Species Act (ESA) grizzly protections even further. If they succeed in their anti-bear agenda, it will give brutal hunters a LICENSE TO INDISCRIMINATELY KILL innocent grizzlies -- and we could soon lose this threatened species forever.
