John, can we have a moment to explain why this race is so important — and winnable?
While it’s been almost 35 years since a Democrat has been elected to Texas’ Senate seat, Ted Cruz is up for re-election in 2024, and political experts are calling him the most vulnerable GOP Senator on the ballot.
For decades, Democrats in Texas were counted out and doubted by the media, GOP, and political experts alike — but the last time Ted was up for election, he narrowly beat his Democratic opponent by just 2.6%.
Since then, he has become even more unpopular among voters, and a brand-new poll shows him in a dead heat with his current Democratic opponent. It may be early in the race, but it looks like we have a good shot of beating Ted Cruz and flipping Texas if we start working together now to overcome the millions of dollars his dark-money donors will throw his way.
John, Texans can’t take six more years of Ted Cruz’ failed leadership. We need to seize the momentum right now and work together to send him packing. Chip in to help power our efforts:

Last year we saw that a strong and early grassroots effort is the formula to winning in states like Arizona, Pennsylvania, and Georgia. Now it’s our time to prove that in Texas.
