Dear John, I have a personal request: Can you chip in $5 or any amount ahead of Thursday’s mid-month deadline? I’ll explain why this is so important in just a moment. [[link removed]]

My number one priority has always been delivering results for Northwest Indiana — from helping pass the Inflation Reduction Act , which lowers prescription drug prices and boosts our economy, to the recent legislation we passed to save our economy from default.

But conservative groups like the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) are determined to replace me with a Republican who cares more about partisan politics than real progress. That’s why they spent big against me in the midterm elections, and it’s why they have already named me a top 2024 target and started running attack ads.

After our campaign files our fundraising report to the Federal Election Commission in a few weeks, everyone — including the NRCC and dark-money groups who want to unseat me — will pore over it to determine whether their attacks have weakened our campaign.

It’s up to us to ensure they know we have the resources to fight back against their attacks.

That’s why I’m hoping you’ll help us stay on track in our fundraising by pitching in toward our $10,000 mid-month goal. Can you make a donation of $5 or any amount today to help keep Indiana’s First District blue? [[link removed]]
