One of the things I love about Callie is that there’s no challenge too daunting or too intimidating to stop her.
When I got back from war, Callie made it her mission to fight for me — for veterans struggling to return to normal, everyday life. She’s spent more than 15 years fighting for veterans and the care they need.
When she went to U of M (with two small kids at home), she didn’t let a little peanut butter on her sweater stop her from achieving her goal. (No, seriously, have you seen how much peanut butter kids eat?)
When she decided to run for Congress, Callie didn’t allow naysayers to deter her from running. People told her going up against an incumbent politician would be too tough and, two months later, she’s proving them wrong at every turn.
I’ve watched my wife time and time again refuse to back down from something others might say is too difficult. And that’s exactly the kind of leadership we need in Washington.
We need a representative with a backbone. Tenacity. Grit. We need someone fighting for us each and every day — not someone who is afraid of talking to their constituents at a town hall.
And if you ask me (okay, I’m a bit biased), Callie’s the woman for the job.
I’ve been told this is one of the most important fundraising months of the entire campaign. So, whether you’ve already made a donation or not, chipping in $5, $10, or $20 right now can go a long way to helping Callie run a winning campaign.

Thanks,

P.S. Whether you prefer crunchy or smooth peanut butter, I think we can all agree Callie’s the right choice to represent the 1st District in Congress. If you’re able, chip in now to support Callie’s run for Congress.
