Last week, I gave you a sneak peek into our “Our States, Our Power Week of Action.” But, I can finally give you the full tea. 😏
Here’s the rundown: We won’t wait any longer for our elected officials to give our communities what we need. 😤 We are long due for policies that help our communities thrive – but instead, all I’ve heard about lately are policy attacks that threaten our immigrant and LGBTQIA+ rights. We can’t wait for more harmful bills like Florida’s anti-immigrant SB 1718 to make their way across the nation. These state attacks make it clear that we need to reclaim our power NOW, and we need your help to win this fight.
Let’s put harmful policies on blast & demand the change we actually need in our states. From June 12-16, we’re coming together to make our voices heard during the “Our States, Our Power” Week of Action. Yes! It all starts TODAY – immigrant youth & allies across the country are waiting for YOU to join us! Leaders in our communities have already taken initiative to bring us together across the country – now we’re only missing you 🫶
