John,

Almost half of Americans believe the rising number of hospital consolidations increases the cost of health care. Based on polling data from Americans for Prosperity, 72% of Americans say hospital consolidations create regional monopolies that keep prices high. Now, the hospitals say consolidation creates efficiencies and “economies of scale” that help keep costs down. But anyone who’s been to one of these mega hospitals knows that just isn’t true.

Instead of more big hospital monopolies, we need to inject more competition into the system.

That’s where the Personal Option health care plan comes in. It would change government rules and make it easier for other providers to give the big hospitals some healthy competition.

Isn’t that what America is all about?

Let’s make the big hospitals compete for your business with a Personal Option. Contact your officials now ([link removed] ?) .

Best,

Dean Clancy
