Folks – If anyone needed proof that we are now facing the direct impacts of climate change, all you had to do was go outside in New York last week. Wildfires are burning out of control in Canada and smoke blanketed much of the East Coast. While this might have been the first time we experienced an air quality event of this magnitude, it unfortunately won’t be the last.
As climate change worsens, extreme weather patterns will only get worse. But we’re proud to say that Antonio Delgado is helping lead New York on this issue.
That’s why he’s helped our state make investments in clean energy in order to transition away from fossil fuels and build a cleaner, more sustainable state.
🌎New York has invested more than $35 billion in large-scale solar, onshore and offshore wind, hydroelectric, and new transmission projects.
🌎We’re working towards a 100% zero-emission electric grid by 2040.
🌎We’re investing $400 million in the Environmental Protection Fund and $500 million for the Clean Water and Infrastructure Act
Friends, we’re proud that Antonio Delgado is pushing our climate agenda forward.
Thank you for your support.
– Team Delgado
