John — In a moment, I’m going to ask you to chip into my campaign for the U.S. Senate as Trump and MAGA Republicans ramp up their attacks against me. But first, I want to explain their latest scheming.

In the past few weeks, MAGA Republicans have gone after me with full force — culminating in Representative Anna Paulina Luna introducing a congressional resolution to censure me and fine me $16 million.

It’s a defamatory grab bag of Fox talking points, but the bottom line is they want payback for my leading Trump’s first impeachment. And as insane as it sounds, the Republicans could pass it, John. After all, it only requires Republican votes and evidently has the support of Kevin McCarthy — who desperately wants to stop me from getting elected to the Senate.

You see, for the past several years, I’ve been leading the effort to hold Republicans accountable.

I’m one of only four members of Congress in history to lead a presidential impeachment trial.

I secured the first bipartisan vote in a Senate trial to convict and remove a president.

The GOP will clearly stop at nothing to defend their leader, Donald Trump. And that means going after me in every way possible — even trying to bankrupt me.
