As we continue to celebrate Pride Month, I want to take a moment to highlight some of the remarkable work being done here in CT-04 to empower and uplift the LGBTQ+ community.

There are many organizations dedicated to fostering a more inclusive and accepting community, and today I thought I’d shine a spotlight on one remarkable organization making a difference: the Triangle Community Center (TCC) in Norwalk.

Triangle Community Center in Norwalk was founded in 1990 by a group of passionate individuals who recognized the need for a safe and inclusive space for the LGBTQ+ community.

For three decades, TCC has been building a supportive community where everyone can be themselves, love who they love, and celebrate their true colors. They’ve become a beacon of hope, ensuring access to healthcare, counseling, providing resources and clinical services, workshops, and events that bring people together and celebrate community. From their annual Pride in the Park event to their LGBTQ+ Youth Leadership Summit, they’ve been spreading joy and empowerment every step of the way.

The Triangle Community Center has been helping CT-04 shine brighter for over 30 years. Let’s continue celebrating love, acceptance, and the impactful work of TCC!
